The model range of PDFx16-S disc filters with semi-automatic flushing can achieve a capacity of up to 210 m3/h. The filtering element is a package of tightly compressed discs made of durable polymer materials. Special-shaped grooves of a certain depth and width are applied to the surface of the discs, ensuring a specific fineness and accuracy of filtration. Filtration fineness ranges from 5 to 400 μm. When the discs are tightly compressed, a volumetric mesh structure is formed, which serves as the filtering working element. Semi-automatic disc filters are protected by a special casing that is resistant to high pressures and corrosion.

The principle of operation of disc systems (filtration and flushing) is as follows:

Periodically, it is also necessary to open each disc filter housing in turn to manually remove impurities that have accumulated "inside" the discs.
